What if we took the leap and just believed? Northwestern's 2013 Waa-Mu Show "Flying Home: Down the Rabbit Hole, Over the Rainbow, and Straight on Till Morning" tells the story of a group of young boys who find themselves transported from their dreary Victorian orphanage to a world they have long stopped believing in, long thought to exist only in the books they read as children and have since cast aside. Check out a sneak peek below!
As they meet characters that have only existed in their fantasies - Dorothy, Alice, Wendy - our boys are forced to believe, once more, as they play, fight and fly through these stories in an attempt to return home ... wherever that might be.
Recommended for ages 10 and up. Running May 3-12, Cahn Auditorium, 600 Emerson Street, Evanston. Tickets: (847) 491-7282 or www.waamu.northwestern.edu.
