The Driehaus Museum's spring 2013 programs include popular annual favorites and exciting new events. The complete lineup for April through June 2013 is as follows:

Songs of Francis Poulenc: An Evening of Opera (April 10): Performers from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and Chicago Opera Theater's joint Professional Diploma in Opera Program treat guests to a salon-style opera performance with works by French composer Francis Poulenc.

Happy Birthday, Lionel Hampton! (April 20): A quartet of Chicago Jazz Orchestra musiciansJustin Thomas, Eric Schneider, Pete Benson, and Dennis Carrollpays tribute to Lionel Hampton.

Aesop's "The Lion and the Mouse" (April 28): Von Orthal Puppets' original adaptation of Aesop's fable combines marionette and bunraku puppetry. The puppets are hand-constructed with found and recycled materials.

Mother's Day Tea with Jane Austen (May 12): Jane Austen, played by actress Debra Ann Miller, is the hostess of the Museum's annual Mother's Day Tea, which celebrates the 200 th anniversary of the publication of Pride and Prejudice.

The Rembrandt Young Artists Special Concert (May 19): The 2013 winners of the Rembrandt Chamber Players' High School Chamber Music Competition showcase their talents by playing classical favorites.

Now Showing The Great Gatsby (June 8): Enjoy an evening of vintage cocktails while viewingthe 1974 film version of The Great Gatsby, starring Robert Redford.

Father's Day: The Nuts and Bolts of Building a Car Collection (June 16): Dads view vintage cars outside the Museum and discuss classic car collecting with Chicago Vintage Motor Carriage Curator and Restoration Specialist, Stephen Murphy.

Mostly Music Celebrates 40 Years (June 21):Mostly Music Chicago celebrates its 40th anniversary with a concert featuring world-renowned harpsichordist David Schrader.

Steps away from Chicago's Magnificent Mile, the Driehaus Museum offers visitors a fascinating view of the Samuel M. Nickerson Mansion, one of the few remaining examples of homes erected by the wealthy of America's Gilded Age. The lavish interiors are complemented by stunning examples of period furniture, and decorative arts, including a magnificent selection of works by Tiffany Studios selected from the Driehaus Collection.
