Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson, and Cecily Strong, (best known for "The Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation with at a Party"), three acclaimed members of the "Saturday Night Live" cast and Second City alumni, come to Chicago's UP Comedy Club for performances of Knuckleheads, as part of "TBS's Just For Laughs Festival," Thursday, June 13 through Saturday June 15, 2013. Aidy Bryant is a cast member on "Saturday Night Live." Her previous stage credits include Second City ETC's revues, "Sky's The Limit (Weather Permitting)" and "We're All In This Room Together." Bryant has also performed around the world with the musical improv group "Baby Wants Candy." She was raised in Phoenix and is a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago.
Tim Robinson is a featured player on "Saturday Night Live" who joined the cast in September 2012. Robinson hails from Detroit, Michigan and began studying improvisation at The Second City Detroit during his senior year of high school. Upon moving to Chicago, he continued performing at The Second City, both on the Main Stage and in the Touring Company. Robinson is a proud member of the improv powerhouse "Cook County Social Club" and the sketch group "My Mans" at Improv Olympic in Chicago. In 2011, Robinson and his frequent collaborators Mark Raterman and Andy Miara developed and produced "My Mans" as a pilot for Comedy Central. That same year Robinson was part of the "Just For Laughs Montreal: New Faces Characters" showcase. He currently lives in New York City.
Cecily Strong joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in the fall of 2012. She was recently featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as "the breakout rookie" on Saturday Night Live. Previous to Saturday Night Live, Strong performed as a member of The Second City Touring Company and served as an understudy for The Second City Main Stage and ETC shows in Chicago. She also improvised regularly at iO in Chicago. She studied improvisation at both Second City and ImprovOlympic in Chicago, and appeared at the Chicago Sketchfest, Chicago Just for Laughs, the New York Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Strong has a BFA in Theatre from the California Institute of the Arts and she was raised in Oak Park, Illinois.
