Rubicon Theatre Project Presents the World premier of Offsprung, By Bridget Fallen.

Rubicon Theatre Project is excited to open its fourth season with Offsprung, a play by Rubicon ensemble member Bridget Fallen, at Stage Left theatre located at 3408 N. Sheffield, Chicago, 60657.

Ensemble members of Rubicon Theatre Project worked with Chicago playwright Bridget Fallen in devised theatre workshops using improvisation to create a story of insight into the best and worst of our coping mechanisms—and all of the laughs, tears, denial and hysteria that go with them.
Torn apart by sixteen years of dysfunction, the Mashburns are at times absurd, headstrong, ambitious, and reckless—and so long as they avoid each other, very much alone.  It seems they will stay estranged forever; until the arrest of the oldest brother sets off a border-crossing misadventure, and the siblings are forced to band together to keep the past from repeating.

Offsprung is directed by Rubicon Theatre Project’s Josh Johnson, and presents Micah Rademacher, Scott Allen Luke, Colleen Elizabeth Miller, Michele Gorman, Jeffery Taylor, Jeromy Spraker, Josh Johnson and Adam Prugh-all Rubicon Theatre Project members.
