There are six events still to come at DUPAC before the end of April!
The season opened with a bang with three fantastic events - Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet, Judy Collins and Into the Woods. Audience turnout for all three was GREAT - Judy Collins sold out (no surprise there really), as did the Saturday night performance of Into the Woods. And then the economy, well, we all know where it's gone.
Our role as a performing arts center is to connect artists and communities - to bring artists ready to share together with an audience ready to engage. We want to make sure that you are here. For yourself. For the artists. For the inimitable experience of live performance.
So while the nation holds it breath waiting for Washington's economic stimulus plan, we offer our own to our community by lowering our ticket prices.
For the remainder of the 2008/2009 performance season, concert ticket prices will be reduced as follows:
Hugo Wolf Quartett | $17 (from $27)
Benefit Concert with Dianne Reeves | $40 and $60 (from $50 and $75)
Ribbon of Highway / Endless Skyway | $17 and $23 (from $22 and $28)
Theatre Arts Lab Series performances are already a bargain at $15 for
The Laramie Project and Lysistrata and only $5 for the Black Box Experiment.
Remember, at DUPAC parking is always FREE. And getting here is easy (see directions online).
