Everyone knows Scrooge and Mr. Potter, but can the holiday spirit work its magic on everyone's favorite man of mystery? Back for a fourth year, Raven Theatre's Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Goose follows Holmes and Watson as they investigate the mysterious theft and even more mysterious discovery of the Countess of Morcar's blue carbuncle, December 10-January 4. The story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has been adapted for the stage by Raven Theatre's co-Artistic Director Michael Menendian and John Weagly. With a dash of Christmas intrigue and a heap of good will, Raven's holiday offering is fun for the whole family!

John Weagly (Co-Playwright) has been rattling around Chicago theater box offices for the last twenty years. Besides being the former Operations Manager for Organic Theater, he's also helped out at Mary-Arrchie, Bailiwick, Goodman and several small companies that have come and gone. As a playwright, he's had plays produced by Strawdog Theatre, Second City, Circle Theater, Artistic Home, Bailiwick, CollaborAction and numerous other companies around the world. His collection of short plays, Tales of the Twinkling Twilight, debuted on the Raven stage in November of 2012. As a fiction writer he's been published in multiple languages and won multiple awards. He is a member of the Raven ensemble.
Michael Menendian (Co-Playwright, Director), is a co-founding member and Producing Artistic Director of Raven Theatre, where he has directed and produced scores of productions since 1983. He has also written many of Raven's Children's Theatre productions, including Aesop's Fables, The Duck, The Bird and The Pea! and Patchwork USA!
