Raue Center to Present NOTHIN' UP MY SLEEVE 2016 This November

Make sure you are on planet earth and at Raue Center For The Arts at 6 p.m. on November 5, 2016 for an out of this world magical variety show! Children and adults alike will be mystified, dazzled and bamboozled by tricks, illusions and more at "Nothin' Up My Sleeve 2016."

"Nothin' Up My Sleeve" returns to Raue Center in 2016 with an updated focus on featuring exclusively family-friendly acts. This longstanding Raue Center program produced by Glenn Chelius and Nino Cruz promises a new magical experience with a special "Star Wars" theme!

The "Star Wars" themed magical variety show will feature performances by the finest magicians and entertainers in the Midwest and will also include the chance to meet some of the characters from the iconic movie saga! Children of all ages are encouraged to join in on the "Star Wars" fun by coming dressed in their best costume.

Be sure to arrive early to experience all the out of this world magic! Doors open at 5 p.m. and the evening will commence with close-up magic in the lobby before moving to the mainstage.

Tickets start at $17 for adults and $6 for children 18 and under and can be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.

As a painstakingly restored, 1920s regional Showcase Theatre named for its benefactor-Lucile Raue-Raue Center has attracted the finest stars, Broadway shows, musicians and artists. Named on the League of Historic American Theatres, Raue Center is one of the finest examples of restored art and decor in the nation. The 750-seat theatre, located in historic, downtown Crystal Lake, is a gathering place for our region's citizens and has become a true destination.
