Attention festivalgoers: Save the date! 2016 will mark Raue Center For The Arts' third annual Rauetoberfest! The traditional Oktoberfest celebration will take place from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday, September 9 and from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 10. Rauetoberfest will feature live music, traditional food and activities at Beyond Stable Farms, 11129 Illinois Rt. 176 in Woodstock, IL.
Rauetoberfest will feature a live performance by Ralph Covert of Ralph's World from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 9. Covert is an indie rocker, songwriter and children's author who has taken the high-energy and super-melodic sense that he developed for his touring pop-rock band to kid's music. His McCartney-like style has won over a massive fan base of kids and parents alike!
Rauetoberfest continues the fall fun with a performance by Jimmy Nick & Don't Tell Mama from 8-11 p.m. on Friday, September 9. Jimmy Nick is an old fashioned, guitar slinging blues prodigy. Backed by his band Don't Tell Mama, comprised of Chicagoland's elite musicians, Jimmy Nick combines his massive talent and stage theatrics with electrifying guitar to perform one of the most exhilarating live shows in the Chicagoland area.
The second night of Raue Center's Oktoberfest celebration will feature a performance by Die Musikmeisters! Die Musikmeisters is a lively German Oompah band that performs standard German instrumental and vocal songs including German polkas, waltzes, marches, dance music and a variety of American favorites.
This year, Rautoberfest is bigger and better than ever! Don't miss our Root Bier Garten and a selection of kid-friendly activities. Rauetoberfest is fun for the whole family!
Rauetoberfest helps define Raue Center's mission to bring the arts to their community by bringing traditional German food, music and activities into a festival setting that takes place in the heart of our community.
