For five consecutive Saturday nights beginning February 28, 2015, Quest Theatre Ensemble will stage a toe-tapping music revue called, by special reQuest! The company will revisit songs from the canon of their shows produced over the past 13 seasons, including "Bright Morning Stars," "Lift Every Voice and Sing" and "We Will Rise." The show will celebrate past Quest shows and features songs, puppetry and dance from classic productions like Evolution/Creation, Drum Circle Pandora and The People's History of the United States.

Quest Theatre Ensemble Artistic Director Andrew Park explains how the company decided to stage the revue. Park says, "I'm often asked, "Are you ever going to do any of your past shows again?" We've never remounted a show. While I'm not opposed to it conceptually, we generally have so many new ideas and shows that we want to create that we never seem to look back. However, I think this music revue is perfect for our audience members who want to experience some of the magic from past Quest shows. The show features have stilt walking, past puppet favorites like our singing Mount Rushmore, and the show ends with a drum circle. It's going to be a fun night!"

The cast will include Aimee Bass, Darcie Bender Hubber, Nate Buursma, Kent Joseph, Taylor Keenan, Molly LeCaptain, Vincent Lonergan, Dennis J. Murphy, Kirk Osgood, Meredith Reynolds, Brett Taylor and Aaron Verbrigghe.

Quest's shows are always free (though donations are welcomed), but reservations are highly recommended. Reservations can be made by calling 312-458-0895. For more information, visit www.questensemble.org
