Centering on the life and spiritual transformation of Chuck Colson, Special Counsel to President Nixon and founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries, REDEEMED tells the amazing story of what inspired transformation in Chuck Colson's life.
Set in the 1970's, against the backdrop of the explosive Watergate scandal, Chuck Colson grasped for meaning during the tumultuous investigations that led to the collapse of the Nixon administration. A convicted former special counsel to the president, Colson paradoxically found new life - not with success and power, but while in national disgrace and imprisonment.
REDEEMED: THE FALL AND RISE OF CHUCK COLSON will feature Provision Theater Company Member Rod Armentrout as Chuck Colson and was written and will be directed by Provision Theater Founding Artistic Director Timothy Gregory.
"Chuck Colson is a great example of someone who was given a second chance and really did something with it," states Provision Theater Artistic Director Timothy Gregory. "Colson devoted his life to carrying the Christian message of second chances to those in prison. He was a brilliant visionary, who understood human frailties, and wanted to bring Christ's love and compassion into the lives of the downtrodden, which he did with Prison Fellowship Ministry."
Additional cast and production team includes Tom McElroy as the Actor, Set & Light Designer Carl Ulaszek, Costume Designer Paula Kenar, Original Music Gary Fry, Assistant Stage Manager Vicky Garcia, Sound/Projections Designer David Pierczynski, Props Designer, Timothy Gregory/Mary O'Dowd and Production Stage Manager Denise Savas.
