Project 891 Theatre Company Presents WTC VIEW, Opening 7/20

Project 891 Theatre Co today announced the second show of its exciting 2011-2012 season featuring 2 Chicago premieres that ask the question: "How do we redefine normal after a national tragedy?" The season closes with Project 891 presenting the Chicago premiere of WTC View by Brian Sloan, directed by ensemble member Michael Rashid, opening Friday, July 20^th at Chemically Imbalanced Theater. 

WTC View centers around Eric, whose ad for a roommate to help him afford his post-boyfriend NYC rent appears in the Village Voice on September 11^th, 2001. Its main selling point? A view of the World Trade Center. 

WTC View will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30P and Sundays at 2P, July 20^th through August 12^th  at Chemically Imbalanced Theater, 1422 W. Irving Park Road. WTC View features an ensemble cast comprised of Liz Hoffman, Michael Mejia, Jason Nykiel, Ron Popp, Rocco Renda, RJ Silva, Jake Szczepaniak and Michael B. Woods, with costumes by Liz Hoffman, lights by Richard Fields, set by Joshua Dlouhy, and sound by Michael Rashid.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/256602 or reserved by emailing project891theatre@gmail.com.
