The Progressive Village Players Network (PVPN) in Westmont, IL. has just announced its principal cast for their upcoming production of GUYS AND DOLLS.
GUYS AND DOLLS, directed by Raegan Kotz, is led by Charles Kay and Jamie DePaolo as the high-rolling gambler and puritanical missionary, Sky Masterson and Sarah Brown, and Karen Powell and Michael Levins as the showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and the crap game manager who is anything but, Miss Adelaide and Nathan Detroit.
The cast also features Tom Jesse (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), Dan Murphy (Benny Southstreet), Peter Piane (Arvide Abernathy), Neal Goldman (Big Jule), John Benischek (Harry the Horse), Michael Kinnavy (Rusty Charlie), Ken Schaefer (Lieutenant Brannigan), Lynda Porter (General Cartwright), Andrew Pawlak (Joey Biltmore/Society Max/Calvin/Master Of Ceremonies), Dan Jagodzinski (Angie The Ox), Sara Blankestyn (Mimi), Danielle Brauweiler (Agatha), Sharesa Uher Moffitt (Martha), Devin Kapusta (Ferguson), Alexandra Payne (Allison) and Rebecca Watson (Vernon).
The Production Team also includes Vince Hilado (Music Director), Devin Kapusta (Choreography), Raegan Kotz (Producer/Scenic Designer) and Maggie South (Producer).
GUYS AND DOLLS features some of Frank Loesser's most memorable tunes, including the hilarious "Adelaide's Lament", the romantic "I've Never Been In Love Before", the exuberant "If I Were A Bell", and the classic "Luck Be A Lady".
