Pride Films and Plays will be holding a performance showcase, Meet the Gang, hosted by The Call, on Sunday, July 17 at 7 PM. The Call is at 1547 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Chicago.
Tickets are $5 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets, or $9 at the door. Each ticket includes your admission AND a drink ticket. The event will showcase PFP ensemble members' work from sketch comedy, to video, to performance art. Our group has members of all ages, sexualities, and queerlosophies, so you're bound to see something you love!
Pride Films and Plays will be putting our best foot forward with a range of multimedia exhibitions. Due to the eclectic nature of our group, we are expanding our performance horizons, and exploring just how much we are capable of as an ensemble. You've seen our play readings; you've entered our playwright contests; you may even attend our cabaret the week before; now
come, chug a dirty martini, and enjoy the subversive and thoughtful work we're presenting you.
We want to continue bringing you intimate events in queer bars throughout Chicago, so if you like what you see, please tell us, and if there's something you haven't seen from us that you'd like to, tell us that too.
