Broadway musicals take center stage at Pride Films and Plays' 2012 spirited benefit And The Winner Wasn't II - The Tony Award Version tonight, June 5, at Sidetrack, 3349 North Halsted.
The evening pays tribute to the memorable -- and highly "note-worthy" -- Tony Award-nominated musicals that did not take home the coveted Antoinette Perry trophy.
Doors open at 7 pm, with a program from 7:30 to 8:30 featuring some of Chicago's best musical theater talent. Tickets are only $20, and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com, or by calling 1800 838 3006.
Veteran entertainer Keith Stoneking, PFP Board President, will host the upbeat evening. He will be joined by PFP Ensemble Member Patrick Rybarczyk who will challenge Broadway savvy audience members with trivia questions about the Tony Awards.

McKenzie-Voigt, Jon Landvick, Chad Ryan, David Geinosky, Lee Wichman, Justin Kilduff, Kristopher Hyland and Bree Gordon. Musical director for the evening is Randy Buehler.
Musical selections for the evening are from HAIR, WICKED, OLIVER, FUNNY GIRL, DREAMGIRLS, MACK & MABEL, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, STEEL PIER, INTO THE WOODS, WEST SIDE STORY, and GYPSY.
