Plucky Rosenthal to Return to Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 11/7

She's back! Plucky Rosenthal, Chicago's own Jewish star of stage and stage, returns on Thursday, November 7 with all her friends in tow. Plucky and Friends! performs Thursday November 7, 14, and 21, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago, IL 60647. Performing artist Alisa Rosenthal is the brains behind vaudeville alter-ego Plucky Rosenthal, and has again assembled an all-star cast to continue the legacy of 2013 hit, It's Been Swell, Plucky Rosenthal! that performed at Gorilla Tango Bucktown in March. An entourage of Chicago comedians, clowns, and musicians promise an evening of laughs with a high dose of expert writing and timing. Cast includes Miranda Baldwin, TIM JOyce, Erica Reid, Kallie Rolison, Jeff Rukes, Erin Thorn, Alexandra Tsarpalas, Vanessa Valliere, Mary Cait Walthall, Ryan Ben, Ellie Mae Wasserman, and more.

A semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award, Alisa Rosenthal has also produced and starred in shows at the Upstairs Gallery, Studio Be, and the Wilmette Theatre. She has trained at the Neo-Futurists, Second City, the Annoyance, Piven Theatre, and the Celebration Barn Theatre in South Paris, Maine. More information is available at www.alisarosenthal.com.
