Photo Flash: Your Program Is Your Ticket at Celebrates Opening Night of WE THE PEOPLE: THE ANTI-TRUMP MUSICAL

Your Program Is Your Ticket (YPIYT), the popular theatre podcast that interviews regional and international theatre artists was at the sold-out opening night of We The People: The Anti-Trump Musical at Stage 773 in Chicago.

Sean Chandler, the host/creator of YPIYT is also part of the creative team for We The People: The Anti-Trump Musical. Chandler, an award-winning playwright, wrote the book for the new musical. The musical is directed by Derek Van Barham, with musical direction by Tyler Miles. The critically acclaimed production runs through February 10 in Chicago.

Your Program Is Your Ticket is a theatre podcast that features interviews from national and international theatre artists. The podcast showcases a wide range of artists from producers, actors, lighting designers, stage managers, ushers, writers, understudy's, and directors. Chandler's mission is to give a voice to all theatre artists.

Now in its second year, Your Program Is Your Ticket (YPIYT) has interviewed upwards of 200 artists including Matthew Broderick, Charles Busch, Martin Denton, Shay Gines, David Pittu, Peggy Shaw, Carly Street, New York Neo-Futurists, Chicago's Flying Elephant Productions, New York's Retro Productions, among others. Each episode features a musical intro by the hip-hop comedy group, North Coast, NYC.

The election of 2016: Disappointment, Chaos, Intrigue, Anger, Response! Six actors playing fifty-five characters take the audience on a political romp in the new political musical "We The People: The Anti-Trump Musical"! Created by award-winning writers Leo Schwartz (music/lyrics) and Sean Chandler (book).

The musical is directed by Derek Van Barham, with musical direction by Tyler Miles. The cast features Dwayne Everett, Bradley Halverson, Elizabeth Rentfro, Carmen Fisher Risi, Alyssa Soto, Tim Swaim, Jennifer Ledesma (Understudy), and Conor McGarry (Understudy).

Sean Chandler (Creator/Producer/Host) is an award-winning playwright who has been a podcast host since 2012, having co-hosted three prior shows; Lundon Calling, Lundon Calling's Empty Closet Series, and Lundon Calling's Lundon Bridge with the legendary Ace Lundon and YouTube personality Donny Winter. As a writer, Sean's work includes the solo show At The Flash which had a nearly sold-out run at the 2016 New York International Fringe Festival and took home an award for Outstanding Solo Performance. The play also won awards from Pride Films and Plays Great Gay Play and Musical Contest Winner, and played at The Dublin Gay Theatre Festival where it received an Oscar Wilde Best New Work Nomination.
