As they wait to sell their suburban house, Lucy's family imagines a vibrant, new life in Chicago. However, Lucy has a different vision for her future. She wants to self-actualize and live as her true self: a powerful dragon named Kreeka. When her family discovers this secret, Lucy must choose between them and a new community known as Otherkin, a group of people who identify as magical, non-human creatures. As Lucy embraces Kreeka, she meets a young man claiming to be an elf, a giant gnome named Blubberwort and a werewolf from Montana, who show her how to live a life driven by faith and a love of the fantastic.
The production team for KIN FOLK includes: John Wilson (scenic design), Kate Kamphausen (costume design), Heather Sparling (lighting design), Morgan Lake (sound design), Paul Deziel (projections design), Garth Moritz (production manager), Bobby Huggins (technical director), JD Caudill and Elyse Dolan (assistant directors), Grace McLeod (script supervisor) and Sarah Collonge (stage manager).
