First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83) presents the Chicago premiere of the witty comedy JEEVES AT SEA, opening Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., and running through February 28, 2016 with previews January 27- 29. Directed by Jeff Award nominee Alison C. Vesely (First Folio's Winter's Tale and The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe), the stars of First Folio's productions of Jeeves in Bloom and Jeeves Takes a Bow, will reprise their roles in JEEVES AT SEA, with Jim McCance as "Jeeves" and Christian Gray (The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe and Winter's Tale at First Folio Theatre, The Glass Menagerie at Oak Park Festival Theatre) as "Bertie."

"The return of Jeeves and Bertie is as welcome as a reunion with old friends!" said The Daily Herald. The Chicago Sun-Times raved, "For riotous, light-hearted comedy, Jeeves is hard to beat!" The Chicago Tribune enthused that "Jim McCance is a picture perfect Jeeves!" JEEVES AT SEA is the fourth installment of Margaret Raether's adaptations of the stories of P.G. Wodehouse.

On board a yacht anchored in Monte Carlo, the feather-brained Bertie Wooster finds himself once more in the soup, caught between the romantic intentions of both the mischievous Lady Stella and the stern Miss Minerva in the witty new play JEEVES AT SEA. Throw in twin brothers Percy and Alfred Crumpworth, and you have a predicament that may stump even the redoubtable Jeeves!

The cast also features Andrew Behling (The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe and Laughter on the 23rd Floor at First Folio Theatre) as "Sir Percival Evarard Crumpworth;" Kate McDermott (Othello at Theatre at Ewing and Shakespeare's Cymbeline: A Folk Tale with Music at First Folio Theatre) as "Lady Stella Venderly;" Whitney Morse (The Merchant of Venice at First Folio Theatre) as "Miss Minerva Pilbeam;" and Joe Foust (The Woman in Black at First Folio and A Christmas Carol at Goodman Theatre) as Count Otto von Dietrichstein.

Set design by Angela Weber Miller (two-time Jeff nominee for A Moon for the Misbegotten and Jeeves in Bloom), Sound Design by Christopher Kriz (Jeff winner for The Turn of the Screw), Lighting Design by Greg Freeman (Side Show at Porchlight Music Theatre andLaughter on the 23rd Floor at First Folio Theatre), Costume Design by Zach Wagner (The Wild Duck at Halcyon Theatre), and Stage Manager Amy Creuziger.

JEEVES AT SEA previews January 27-29, opens January 30 and runs through February 28, 2016. The regular schedule is Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. There will also be 3:00 p.m. shows on Thursday February 11, 18 and 25 and 4:00 p.m. shows on Saturday February 20 and 27. Tickets range from $29 - $39 and preview tickets are $22. Season subscriptions and individual tickets may be purchased by calling the box office at 630-986-8067 or online at www.firstfolio.org.
