About Face Theatre, in association with Justin Brill, launches its 2014-15 season with Methtacular!, written and performed by Steven Strafford and directed by Adam Fitzgerald. In this Chicago premiere, Strafford shares his brutally honest and often comedic story of survival in the underground world of Chicago's crystal meth scene. Methtacular! plays now through September 28, 2014 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Strafford onstage below!

Methtacular! is Steven Strafford's hilarious and harrowing autobiographical account of his three years as a crystal meth addict in Chicago. Through comedy, songs, and plenty of honest storytelling, Strafford brings audiences on a journey through the chemical highs, devastating lows, and ultimate redemption from his drug addled, sex crazed life.

The production team for Methtacular! Includes David L. Arsenault (scenic design) Sarah Hughey (lighting design) and Paul Perry (sound design), Aaron Rhyne (projections design) and Jill Yetsky (stage manager).

Methtacular! features music supervision and arrangements by John McDaniel and original music and arrangements by William TN Hall, with original music by Wade Elkins and accompanist Charlotte Rivard-Hoster.

All performances play Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago through Sunday, September 28, 2014. Curtain Times: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm; Sundays at 4 pm.
