"It is bright, funny, fast paced, has wonderful dance and music, and the characters are animals," says Director and Highland Park resident Debra Goldman. "Come join us and see what makes Busytown so busy!"

Busytown is always buzzing with activity. But what do people do all day? That's where Huckle Cat comes in-he'll take us on a tour of his great neighborhood. And there is so much to see and do, so many wonderful friends to visit.

The production stars Al Katz-Mariani as Huckle Cat and Heidi Hansfield as Betsy Bear. Also in the production is Brian Herrle as Sergeant Murphy, Bob Spidale as Farmer Alfalfa/Train the Dog, Aimee Kleiman as Grocer Mom Cat, Toni Mansfield as Tailor Stitches/Jason the Mason, Sammi Gassel as Blacksmith Fox, Dave Lemrise as Construction Worker/Salty the Pirate, Sarah Makkawy as Dig Pig/Letter Carrier, Elise Lipezker as Sawdust, Christina Melgar as Lowly Worm, Katy Mitchell as Postwoman/Humperdink, Naomi Hershman as Nurse/Grandma Bear, Molly Jacobson as Firechief, Sabra Gerber as Able Baker Charlie, and Susie Perkowitz as Dr. Lion.

The creative team includes Jamie Davidson (Producer), Debbie Goldman (Director), Aaron Kaplan (Music Director), Cathy Jacobson (Choreographer), Live Music by JAM (Justin Kono, Aaron Kaplan, and Michael Goldman), Vicky Jablonski (Costumer), Rich Neumann (Sound Designer), Jacob Cohen (PR/Marketing), Gryffon Cloud (Stage Manager), Abra Chusid (Props Designer) and Sue Jacobson (Assistant Director).

"We are truly excited to bring the experience of live theater to young families on the North Shore," says Producer and Highland Park resident Jamie Davidson. "Children will be captivated by the engaging actors and live band, and love meeting the characters afterwards for autographs."
