The Chicago Premiere of Ryan Scott Oliver's 35MM: A Musical Exhibition with CIRCLE THEATRE begins rehearsals this month. This immersive production will have previews on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 and Sunday, March 20th, 2016, and opens for press on Wednesday, March 23rd, running through Sunday April 10, 2016 at Room 300 at the Flat Iron Arts Building in Wicker Park, 1579 North Milwaukee Ave. More information on performance dates and times can be found at www.circletheatrechicago.org. A picture is worth 1,000 words - what about a song? Can a picture inspire a song or fifteen? In 35MM, each photo creates a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. 35MM: A Musical Exhibition by Ryan Scott Oliver is a stunning new multimedia musical which explores a groundbreaking new concept in musical theatre, this intricately woven collection of stories told through song re-imagines what the modern American musical can be.

The cast includes Caleb Baze (October Sky, Marriott Lincolnshire; A Marvin Hamlisch Songbook, Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre), Tony Carter (We Gotta Bingo, Chicago Theater Works; High Fidelity, Refuge Theatre Project), Michelle Lauto (The Boy From Oz, Pride Films and Plays; Murder Ballad, Bailiwick Chicago), Neil Stratman* (Dogfight, Boho Theatre; The Who's Tommy, Paramount Theatre), Liz Bollar (The Boy From Oz, Pride Films and Plays; Hair, American Theatre Company), with performer standby's Sara Reinecke (Hairspray, Little Theatre on the Square),Joseph Alvey (Legally Blonde, Dominican University), and Jacob Gilchrist (Barney the Elf, The Other Theatre Co.).

The production team includes Cameron Turner (Director/Choreographer), Ryan Brewster (Music Director), Andrew C. Donnelly (Stage Manager), Jimmy Jagos* (Set Designer, BroadwayWorldChicago.com nomination for Triassic Parq), Margi Hazlett (Costume Designer), Chazz Malott (Lightin Designer), Karla Meyer (Sound Design / Board Operator) and Bobby Arnold* & Nicholas Reinhart* (Producers). With a 6-piece pit orchestra, instrumentalists include Zachary H. Suechting (Bass), Michael Evans (Guitar / Keys 2), Rob J.
