The Actors Training Center Repertory Company at The Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Ave., presents DISNEY'S BEAUTY &THE BEAST JR., the enchanting theatrical version of the beloved Academy Award-winning film, in a limited engagement now through Sunday, May 12. DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. is slightly shorter than the original Tony Award-winning stage production and perfect for children five and older. The production is directed by Jeff Award winner Janet Louer, Artistic Director of The ATC Repertory Company. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

When he ventures outside of his picturesque French town, an inventor named Maurice becomes lost in the woods and seeks shelter in an old castle, but is swiftly taken hostage by the Beast who lives there. Maurice's beautiful daughter, Belle, must give up her freedom and take her father's place at the castle in order to save his life. With the help of a perky teacup, kind-hearted armoire, sassy feather duster, a wise clock and more, Belle is able to transform the Beast back into a handsome prince in this musical celebration of the power of love and friendship. DISNEY'S BEAUTY &THE BEAST JR. has an exhilarating score including Beauty and the Beast, Be Our Guest, Home and Something There. The production features Music by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Menken and Tim Rice and a Book by Linda Woolverton.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. stars Colleen King as "Belle" and Carson Rammelt as "the Beast." The production also stars Lyndsey Byster, Anna DeNoia, Megan Delaney, Colleen Dougherty, Elita Ernsteen, Emma Flannery, Milla Guerra, Elizabeth Kasten, Haley Noll, Carley Pierce, Makaila Rosin, Maura Streppa, Mackenzie Wilkin, Sam Baum, Connor Carlin, Sammy Ferber, Alex Hatcher, Jack Levin, Liam Oh, and Jacob Simon.

The not-for-profit Wilmette Theatre is the premiere multi-arts and performance center anchoring the downtown Wilmette business district by providing vibrant entertainment, education and enrichment for the community.

The Actors Training Center Repertory Company's mission is to provide an educational integration of cultural, historical and social issues through live theater. The Actors Training Center at the Wilmette Theatre offers professional, process-driven classes for actors from Kindergarten through 12th grade as well as adults. K-12 students at The Actors Training Center at the Wilmette Theatre are able to take classes to develop skills in dramatic acting, improv and sketch comedy, physical theater and musical theater. Adult classes include Actor's Essentials, Adult Improv, On-Camera Technique and more. Scholarships are available.

The performance schedule for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. is Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m.; Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. The theater is located steps away from the Wilmette Metra station.
