Porchlight Music Theatre kicked off its 20th Anniversary season with a sold-out benefit concert, Chicago Sings Disney featuring the music created by the Walt Disney Studios, Monday, Aug. 25 at Mayne Stage, 1328 West Morse Ave. BroadwayWorld has photos from the event below!

The evening included a thrilling roster of Chicago's top theatre artists performing familiar Disney classics and nostalgic treasures to an enthusiastic crowd, a live auction, cash bar and complimentary desserts at intermission, generously provided by Bespoke Cuisine. Proceeds from this concert benefit Porchlight productions and educational programs at The School at Porchlight.

Porchlight Music Theatre Artistic Associates Rob Lindley and Doug Peck created the annual Chicago Sings concert where on one night each year, Chicago's leading performers gather to support Chicago's leading presenter of music theater, Porchlight Music Theatre with a concert highlighting a specific songwriter, duo or group. Hosted by Lindley, with Peck often accompanying performers on piano, this year's special fundraising event featured performances of songs created from the Walt Disney Studios.

The performers, under Peck's direction, performed the songs in traditional formats, as well as new takes on the classics. Chicago's finest music theatre artists, fan favorites as well as rising stars, included E. Faye Butler, Dara Cameron, Matthew Crowle, Rebecca Finnegan, Foiled Again (Rob Lindley, Anne SheriDan Smith and Allison Bazarko), John Keating, Donica Lynn, Michael Mahler, Beckie Menzie, Christine Mild, Andrew Mueller, Matt Mueller, Meghan Murphy, Jeff Parker, Doug Peck, Peggy Roeder, Emma Rosenthal and Bethany Thomas.
