Photo Flash: BrightSide Theatre Celebrates Songs of the Silver Screen

On Saturday, September 23rd, BrightSide Theatre celebrated the 2017 Annual Benefit at the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall on the campus of North Central College in downtown Naperville. BroadwayWorld has photos from the event below!

Led by our Master of Ceremonies, Dolly McCarthy of The Dolly McCarthy Show, this evening brought together 30 musicians, actors and actresses from past BrightSide Theatre productions to sing songs from the silver screen.

During the evening, The BrightSide Theatre Luminary Award was awarded to The Saints with Board Member David Rothschild accepting the award for their support in providing ushers for our performances. The evening was sponsored in part by My Chef Catering, Coopershawk Winery & Restaurants and Jennie & Spice.

The funds raised will help BrightSide Theatre continue to Enlighten, Educate and Entertain audiences, as well as provide support to the BrightSide Theatre Youth Project to keep the mission alive and well in Naperville!

BrightSide Theatre (Jeffrey Cass, Artistic Director and Julie Ann Kornak, Executive Director) currently having just begun rehearsals for the first show of the 7th Season - Cinema to Stage, is Naperville's only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district.
