Gary Gisselman returns to direct the 33rd year of A Christmas Carol, the Guthrie classic inspired by Charles Dickens' immortal tale. As the miserly Scrooge – played for the third consecutive year by actor Raye Birk – encounters the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, he is forced to battle his own ghosts and reevaluate his world views, all with a little help from Tiny Tim.
The Guthrie Theater production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, is adapted by Barbara Field, directed with set design by Neil Patel, original costumes by Jess Goldstein, additional costumes by David Kay Mickelsen, lighting design by Marcus Dilliard.
A Christmas Carol begins November 20 and opens November 23 to play through December 29, 2007.
