500 Clown creates and sells RISKwear, one-of-a-kind recycled clothing designs.

Founded in fall 2000, 500 Clown uses action-based performance, improvisation, and

circus arts to produce theatre that catapults the performers into extreme physical and emotional risk. The work shifts the audience from passive to active observers and creates a charged environment that celebrates the unpredictable power of the moment. Complete production history available on request. "Life is worth the risk."

The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, Mayer and Morris Kaplan Family Foundation, and JNL Graphic Design. 500 Clown also received support from the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Ensemble Theatre Collaborations Grant program from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to support the development of "500 Clown and the Elephant Deal" in partnership with the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in Maryland, and The Boeing Company to support the Chicago premiere of "Elephant Deal" at Steppenwolf Upstairs Theater as part of its Visiting Company Initiative opening June 25, 2009.
