The 4th Annual Juggernaut Film Festival is a oneday event to celebrate Science Fiction and Fantasy short films from around the world. It is presented by Chicago's Otherworld Theatre Company, whose mission is to further explore and promote the SciFi/Fantasy genres. The event will be held in Chicago's historic Music Box Theatre, which is the perfect backdrop for filmmakers and viewers to socialize over a cocktail and enjoy a fun day of Science Fiction and Fantasy films.
All proceeds from The Juggernaut Film Festival go towards Otherworld Theatre's mission of bringing
Science Fiction and Fantasy plays to the Chicago community.
A networking social hour will take place in the Music Box Theatre Lounge one hour before the event. Filmmakers in attendance will participate in audience Q & A and industry related panels. As an added feature this year, at the end of the event, awards will be presented to outstanding Filmmakers for categories including "Best
Science Fiction", "Best Fantasy", "Audience Favorite", and the "Spirit Award".
This year we are excited and honored that Juggernaut will be hosted by the famous local podcast, CinemaJaw. Notorious for their funny and insightful look at blockbuster films, CinemaJaw will be leading Q&A panels with both local and international filmmakers attending the event.
