Octavarius, a Chicago comedy group, hosts a special series of shows titled "Octavarius: Battle for the Belt," with guest Colt Cabana, former WWE and current Ring of Honor superstar, Sunday, March 13, 20 and 27 at 7pm at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. "The Ego" Robert Anthony, CZW Heavyweight Champion, will make a special appearance on the final night of the series.
Lace up your boots, air out your spandex and cue your theme song! Over the course of three weeks, relationships will be tested, alliances will be made and trust will be betrayed. Octavarius will split into four teams (Two Kinds of Alf, Grandpa Factory, Bus-cow and The Zev Senesca Memorial Players) to compete against one another in this pro-wrestling themed comedy showdown. Colt steps out of the ring to be the commissioner of this "Battle for the Belt" series. The champion at the end of the run will hold the belt and ownership of Octavarius L.L.C.
Tickets are $15 per show, or $25 for a ringside pass to all three nights. Audience members are encouraged to make a sign cheering or jeering their favorite Octavarius superstars, and receive tickets at a discounted rate of $12.
