Arts Alliance at Northwestern University presents, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, in the Louis Room of Norris University Center at Northwestern University April 28-30.  Tickets are on sale at the Norris Box Office (1999 S Campus Drive Evanston, IL) and range from $5-$10.  More information is available at www.nbo.northwestern.edu.


Opening April 30, this hit rock musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, based on the 1960 sci-fi film of the same name, tells the story of Seymour, a down-and-out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. The show first came to life Off-Broadway in 1982, and remains one of the longest running Off-Broadway shows of all time. It features such songs as "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green" and "Suddenly, Seymour."LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is directed by Michael Holtzman with musical direction by Elizabeth Doran and William Curry and choreography by Monica Thomas. The design team includes Jeff Glass (Lights), Tina Frank (Scenic), Dan Carlyon and David Griffin (Sound), Jamie Lynn White (Costumes), Miranda Benner (Plant Designer), Breanne Ward (Interior) and Chelsea Adams & Abby Lembersky (Properties).

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will run for a very limited engagement April 30 to May 2 in the Louis Room of Norris University Center at Northwestern University. Individual tickets are now on sale at the Norris Box Office and range in price from $5 to $10.
