Northlight's Winter Celebration, Arts Transforms Communities, Featuring The Cast Of Nina Simone At SPACE Image

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, presents Art Transforms Communities, a special evening featuring performances by the cast of Northlight's upcoming production of Nina Simone: Four Women. Art Transforms Communities will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 6pm to 8pm at SPACE, 1245 Chicago Ave. in Evanston.

Join Northlight Theatre and the cast of Nina Simone: Four Women for a fun evening of music and conversation. Northlight is proud of its work to affect change in the community and is excited to bring Nina Simone: Four Women to the stage. Members of the cast, including Melanie Brezill, Deanna Reed-Foster, Ariel Richardson and Daniel Riley, will perform some of Nina's most powerful anthems. Community partners will also share experiences surrounding the impact of Northlight's dynamic education and community engagement programs throughout Evanston and beyond.

Tickets, priced at $50 (seated cabaret table ticket) and $20 (general admission), are available by visiting https://northlight.org/arttransforms/ or calling 847.324.1616. Both ticket levels include pizza, beer, wine and soda. There will be a cash bar.

Funds raised through Art Transforms Communities will support Northlight Theatre's community engagement programs and Arts for Everyone, a new initiative that provides our community partners with free tickets to every Northlight mainstage production.

Northlight would like to thank Evanston SPACE for sponsoring Art Transforms Communities.
