New City Springs Into April With 'Brunch With The Bunny' Easter Celebration

An urban oasis for one-of-a-kind entertainment, eclectic dining and luxury shopping, Chicago's newest lifestyle destination, NEWCITY, 1457 N. Halsted, is proud to host an Easter celebration fit for the entire family. On Saturday, April 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., dozens of Easter treasures will be hidden throughout the plaza at the 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt, featuring arts and crafts stations with Bunny. Adults can join in on the fun with a special Brunch with the Bunny at upscale eatery Earls Kitchen + Bar, featuring delicious brunch fare from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"NewCity was developed to unite the community and provide a one-stop-shop for entertainment, shopping and dining," says Erin Webster, Assistant General Manager and Marketing Director. "Creating a holiday tradition where the entire family can partake in a fun activity and enjoy a meal together continues our mission."

Brunch with the Bunny will highlight all of Earls favorites, including the Avocado Super Brunch, featuring two poached eggs, smashed avocado, olive oil and tomatoes, radish, spicy sriracha, toasted hemp seed on grilled sourdough with field greens, Blueberry + Lemon Pancakes, with baked ricotta, whipped maple butter and pure maple syrup, Croque Madame, on grilled sourdough, with fried egg, ham, white cheddar and roasted jalapeno cream, and the Filipino Rice Bowl, a poached egg on top of crispy rice, corn, cabbage, beef and bacon, tamarind ketchup and crispy onions.

Check-in for the Easter Egg Hunt begins at 9 a.m. Children must be 12 or under to participate. Reservations for Brunch with the Bunny at Earls are required and can be made via OpenTable. Registered CITY Kids will receive a voucher for a meal off the kids brunch menu at Earls. *Must be registered as part of the CITY Kids club by midnight on April 13th, 2017.
