The Music Institute of Chicago invites musicians of all ages and abilities to consider private instruction and group class opportunities with its highly respected faculty of professionals by visiting one of its free musical petting zoos and open houses at several city and suburban campuses in January and February. Spring semester begins January 28.
At these events, those who attend can try a variety of instruments, enjoy student performances and receive exclusive discount offers, and parents can learn about options for their children's music education.
The nationally recognized Music Institute of Chicago Community Music School offers private music instruction, group classes, musicianship, chamber music, and orchestral programs to thousands of students of all ages and abilities each year. In addition to exceptional classical training, special program areas include Early Childhood Music Education (Musikgarten), Musical Theater, Jazz Studies, Roots & Rock, Adult Studies, and an extensive Suzuki program including the Chicago Suzuki Institute each summer.
