Moscow Ballet Holds Three Chicago Area Auditions for 'Nutcracker' September 9-11

Young dancers in the Chicago area have the opportunity to audition for key roles in the Moscow Ballet's iconic holiday classic "The Great Russian Nutcracker" in three open auditions held September 9-11, 2016. Those selected will have the tremendous opportunity to share the stage with world-class professional dancers in a performance held Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the Rosemont Theatre, Rosemont, IL.

Student dancers must have at least one year of ballet training, dress in dance attire and may bring Pointe shoes.

Auditions are as follows:

Friday, Sept. 9th, Plainfield, IL, DanceQuest, 14511 Van Dyke Rd.

Ages 6-8: 4:30 - 5:30 pm

Ages 9-11: 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Ages 12 & up: 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Saturday, Sept. 10th, Huntley, IL, Center Stage Dance Academy, 10631 Wolf Dr.

Ages 6-8: 10:00 - 11:00 am

Ages 9-11: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Ages 12 & up: 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Sunday, Sept. 11th, Chicago, IL, Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave. 3rd Floor

Ages 6-8: 10:00 - 11:00 am

Ages 9-11: 11:00 - 12:00 pm

Ages 12 & Up: 12:00 - 1:00 pm
