During April, May, and June the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture will present three cabaret events and four afternoons of high tea accompanied by unique entertainment at Maxim's: The Nancy Goldberg International Center.
The Play On Cabaret series presents some of Chicago's finest musical talent, including singers of the Great American Songbook and a wide variety of blues, jazz and instrumental interpretations.
Tea at 3 presents a glamorous afternoon of high tea and uncommon entertainment every month. Each event begins with a tea tasting provided by TeaGschwendner. The selections include a traditional black tea and a caffeine-free or herbal tea. Tea sandwiches, cookies, cheese and fruit also are served, before the entertainment.
