Krampus is part of an age-old tradition in the alpine countries of Europe. On St. Nick's day, St. Nick parades through towns and villages handing gifts to good children. Following him is Krampus, a horribly frightening, evil-looking villain, who threatens to beat bad children with a stick and haul them away in a bag. Once banned in Austria, Krampus is resurging in popularity. Martyrs' is celebrating because we're all a little naughty AND a little nice. However, it will be family-friendly, so no Krampus beatings!
