Lost Note Theater Company, dedicated to presenting concert readings of obscure and forgotten musicals, is pleased to announce its inaugural production: I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE, playing three performances only, April 27 - May 1, 2013 at Strawdog Theatre Company's Hugen Hall, 3829 N. Broadway in Chicago. With book by Jerome Weidman (based on his novel) and music & lyrics by Harold Rome, Lost Note's production is directed by Stephen Murray with musical direction by Aaron Benham. Tickets are currently on sale at brownpapertickets.com.

I CAN GET IF FOR YOU WHOLESALE features Barbara Berndt, Mary Jo Bolduc, Ashly Dalene, Erin Daly, Jeffrey Gitelle, Steven Greist, Paul G. Miller, Annie Passanisi and Brian Rooney.

This 1962 musical chronicles the rise and fall of Harry Bogen, a backstabbing businessman determined to climb to the top of New York's garment trade. I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE is best remembered for the Broadway debut of Barbra Streisand in the role of Miss Marmelstein, Harry's long-suffering secretary.
The score includes "When Gemini Meets Capricorn," "The Sound of Money" and "What's in it for Me?"

Additional production credits for I CAN GET IF FOR YOU WHOLESALE include Ashly Dalene (choreography), Bethany Schrader (stage manager) and Paul G. Miller (artistic producer).
