Lookingglass Theatre Company presents Trust, written by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer and Andy Bellin, based on the screenplay by Andy Bellin and Rob Festinger and directed by Ensemble Members David Schwimmer and Heidi Stillman. The production begins previews March 3, 2010. Tickets will be on sale beginning Friday, January 15 for performances through April 25, 2010, at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

Ensemble Members David Schwimmer and Heidi Stillman direct the World Premiere of his new script about a seemingly innocent online encounter that threatens to unravel the fabric of an American family. Using state of the art technology, Trust will be a cutting-edge theatrical experience, combining projection, video, photos, texting and live chat.

As the internet increasingly becomes the hunting ground for sexual predators, this production will serve to not only raise awareness but move and empower audiences to take action in their community and within their own families.

The play was brought to Lookingglass by Schwimmer, who is a current board member of The Rape Foundation and an active supporter of the Rape Treatment Center in Los Angeles for more than ten years.

Filming was recently completed in Michigan for a Millennium Films Projects version of Trust, directed by David Schwimmer and written by Andy Bellin. The film features Clive Owen and Catherine Keener as the parents of a 14-year old daughter, played by Liana Liberato, who is victimized in an online chat room.
