"Bobby's work is what excites me about musicals," says Redish. "B.R.A.T.T. Camp is an extremely moving show that surprises and entertains, but ultimately rests at the heart of shedding light on what it means to be a teenager. I'm thrilled to share this wonderful new work with Highland Park."
The new musical follows five troubled teens shipped off to a disciplinary camp, where it's the B.R.A.T.T.s versus nature. The five teens must wrestle with their problems in the isolated and challenging terrain of the forest."It's great rock music with brains and heart," says Redish."The music is intelligently written, but it also moves me to the core."
B.R.A.T.T. Camp features performances by: Jason Bowen, Rebecca Chicoine, Megan Pietrantonio, Emily Rogers, and Andrew Temkin. Justin Stein is featured in the principal role of Cody.
Tickets to all four performances are $25, and may be purchased at www.laredmusictheatre.org beginning Monday, May 18.
