Kevin Wiczer's New Play DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL to have a Staged Reading at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre

Kevin Wiczer's new play DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL will have a staged reading at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W Campbell St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at 7:30pm.

Admission is Free. No tickets will be available for reserve or purchase for this stage reading. Seating is first come, first served. There will be a talkback afterwards.

Playwright Kevin Wiczer says, "This new play is pretty terrifying. When you're a gay man hoping to find acceptance for who you are, oftentimes you find it, but sometimes it's not that easy. Some people in this world are full of hate, and instead of trying to understand, they immediately turn to violence to show they're intolerance. DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL is a haunting story very loosely based on a crime that was committed in Florida in 2005."

Peter and Ken Forrester are a newly married couple that move into a nice suburban neighborhood near Chicago. Peter's daughter, Olivia, from his previous marriage, and her new boyfriend, Mike, are coming to visit from Peoria, and are looking to possibly move to the area. However, someone in the neighborhood is not happy that a gay couple has moved into the neighborhood, and they are planning something so horrific, it will shake the suburban community to its core.

Playwright: Kevin Wiczer (Lake Zurich)
The Cast: Don J. Orlando (Wheeling), John B. Boss (Chicago), Jessica Means (Schaumburg), Frank J. Glab (Chicago), Sean Colbert (Bartlett).
