KINKY BOOTS to Host Ice Cream Giveaway for Box Office Opening, 8/3

On Friday, August 3, the hottest new musical KINKY BOOTS is giving away ice cream, courtesy of Chicago's newest ice cream bike, Chi-Scream. The cyclist will make stops throughout the city beginning at 10 a.m. at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe. Single tickets for the pre-Broadway world premiere of KINKY BOOTS, a brand new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® and Emmy Award-winner Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will go on sale to the public Aug. 3., 2012 at 10 a.m. Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, KINKY BOOTS will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe Street) beginning Oct. 2 through Nov. 4, 2012.
