Press note announce, "Who will it be? He or she could be in the first row, the tenth row or in the balcony, but one lucky theatergoer will walk away with a very special honor on Wednesday, June 3 as the one millionth audience member to experience JERSEY BOYS in Chicago."

The Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS joins a very select group of shows in Chicago to welcome over one million patrons, as it continues to wow audiences in an open run at the Bank of America Theatre.

The lucky one millionth patron will be identified at the end of the 2 p.m. matinee performance on Wednesday, June 3 and treated to spectacular prizes including a special on stage appearance, private meet and greet and photo with the cast of JERSEY BOYS and show memorabilia including an autographed poster and Playbill. The winner will also be invited to experience JERSEY BOYS once again in style with four premium tickets to a weekend performance, including V.I.P. suite service, along with the lavish Restyle Package for four at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel) including two overnight stays in luxurious accommodations, complimentary Christian Dior or Lancôme Paris makeup restyles, admission to the new Modern Wing at The Art Institute of Chicago and special gifts from Macy's Water Tower Place and The 900 Shops.

"We came to Chicago for a visit, and the Windy City became our home away from home. Such conversions happen rarely in the theater. And now, as tangible evidence of this heaven-sent coalescence, this week JERSEY BOYS and Chicago celebrate their one millionth customer," said Michael David, Producer of JERSEY BOYS. "It is breathtaking. Our profound thanks to the citizens of Chicago who have made us such welcome neighbors."

"Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to celebrate this monumental occasion with JERSEY BOYS at the Bank of America Theatre," said Lou Raizin, President of Broadway In Chicago. Eileen LaCario, Vice President of Broadway In Chicago continued, "Our mission is always to bring more people to see theatre in Chicago. JERSEY BOYS is an absolute magnet and has done incredible things for the Downtown Theatre District and the City of Chicago. One million - that's a lot of theatergoers!"

Presented by Broadway In Chicago and TheatreDreams, the blockbuster hit JERSEY BOYS is now in its second smash year in Chicago. JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, premiered in Chicago on October 5, 2007 and became a resident production on February 27, 2008. JERSEY BOYS tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

Directed by two-time Tony Award® - winner Des McAnuff, JERSEY BOYS won both the 2006 Tony Award® for Best Musical and the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Recording, and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, and continues to break box office records on Broadway and in Chicago. JERSEY BOYS is written by Academy Award® - winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
