In Pluto is Listening, Grace (Corbette Pasko), inspired by scientific debate over whether Pluto is actually a planet (and high on diet pills), enlists her best friend, Benjamin (Josh Hambrock), to send out skyward broadcasts from their small hometown of Pluto, Ohio. This launches a series of transmissions (and an escalating drug problem) involving Grace and Benjamin over the course of 20 years, revealing the bittersweet trajectory of their friendship and an inevitable crash landing.

Additional production staff includes InFusion Theatre Company ensemble members Mitch Golob, director; Jamie Bragg, assistant director/dramaturg and Jason Crutchfield, stage manager. Other crew members include Kevin Viol, video designer, Dustin Pettegrew, scenic designer; Jessica Carson, lighting designer, Heath Hays, sound designer; Rachel Sypniewski, costume designer and Devyn Mares, props designer.

InFusion Theatre's spring 2012 production, dates and location will be announced at a later date, is a world premiere from Chicago Playwright Randall Colburn. The Improv Play blurs the lines between improv and staged theater. The Improv Play follows three aspiring improvisers as they seek success and validation on Chicago's comedy stages after a fellow troupe member leaves for New York to work on "Saturday Night Live." InFusion Theatre is using Colburn's written word and input from the audience to create a different show each performance. The Improv Show shines light on the chaotic and emotionally charged behind the scenes bustle of an improvisational troupe.

InFusion Theatre Company seeks out new plays and organically "infuses" them with other elements of entertainment such as music, dance and film. "We strive to create dynamic performances by combining different forms of entertainment that will result in both exciting and thought-provoking work and we focus on giving voice to new works, as well as looking at older works in a new way," says Artistic Director Mitch Golob. InFusion's 2010-2011 season included the with the Midwest premieres of Randall Colburn's Ghostbox and Qui Nguyen's Soul Samurai.
