Huggable Riot has announced the second in a series of summer sketch comedy revues when Oedipal Arrangements opens on July 22, 2015 at Gorilla Tango Theater in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.

A dysfunctional sketch comedy revue about accepting your family and finding yourself, Oedipal Arrangements is comprised of original work from cast members Brittany Flynn, Dana Angelo, Megan Stalter, Evan Mills, Mitchell Land, and Joe McDaniel. Together they've created a series of parables about individuality, family, and acceptance, as told by the weird girl you remember from high school drama class. Scenes explore the beauty and consequences of love, including the couples that are literally joined at the hip, the homicidal intensity of best friendships, and the sexual implications of being the last four people on earth.

"Oedipal Arrangements is a sketch comedy revue about finding where you belong, being who you are, and going after what you want," said Huggable Riot Founder and Oedipal Producer Amy Anderson. "It's so thrilling to build this collective from the ground up. We are building a strong network of talented and motivated people. We have our three shows in the Summer of Sketch, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next."

Oedipal Arrangements will run every Wednesday for four weeks beginning July 22 at Gorilla Tango, located at 1919 N. Milwaukee, just off the Western Blue Line stop. Each show is approximately one hour. Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $12 or $15 at the door.

Formed by Head Writer/Producer Amy Anderson and Director Hunter Larrison, Huggable Riot is a comedy collective comprised of various actors, writers, and improvisers based in the Chicago area. The group has previously produced the revue Imaginary Friends with Benefits for the Annoyance Theater and Wild Youth Chase and See Attachment (under the names Chalk Board Anxiety and Slacktivist Abyss ) at Gorilla Tango. Huggable Riot is driven to learn by doing and growing together. Their only goal is to make each show better than the one before it, and then to gab about it for hours over many whisky gingers.
