The Boss requests your presence at a swanky soiree to fund his new legitimate and fully legal business enterprise: Hobo Junction Theatre. Be at the Boss' hideout (The SPOT) between 7:00 and 10:00 PM on April 10th. Go around to the back and look for the palooka in the red fedora, and give the password, "Boondoggle", to the mechanical man. Breathe a word to the fuzz and you'll be singin' with the sparrows.

Bring $15 clams to line the Boss' pockets and you'll be handsomely rewarded with live performances by the dancing girls and tramp comics of Oona Productions, swingin' Gypsy Jazz favorites The Panda Feathers, and other surprise guests. Bring extra for yourself to buy a little protection, try your luck at a game of chance and enjoy some "refreshments" if you catch my drift...

All proceeds go to fund Hobo Junction and their production of Bad Guys In Suits"...opening at the Apollo Theater on April 17th. Bad Guys is about four 1930's mobsters just trying to earn a "respectable" living-in spite of hard times and their seedy job descriptions-on what becomes the longest night of their lives. With a great combination of slapstick humor and sophisticated dialogue that employs much of the gangster vernacular from that era, and original music by gypsy jazz band, The Panda Feathers, you're sure to have a great time.

Silent Theatre Tramps of Oona Productions
Oona Production's unique style of physical entertainment began four years ago in conjunction with the Silent Theatre Company. We first started performing vaudeville three years ago and, since then, we have found our niche in creating a neo-vaudeville performance style. We take inspiration from the vaudeville/silent film/cartoon/slapstick greats as well as integrating our own ideas of what live entertainment should be. Don't forget to check them out on YouTube!

Hobo Junction, the dark pirates of the Chicago scene, was founded by Josh Zagoren and Mike Foster, two waiters from Dick's Last Resort, four years ago and has since gone on to become a darling of theater goers and comedians all over the city. Hobo Junction has grown into a company made up of talented artists with experience in all aspects of theatre, and with their solid blend of silly and smart, they have produced a celebrated six original shows in their time here, two of them with three extensions, and they don't want to slow down any time soon.
