Highland Park Players presents its newest theater for young audiences production of WINNIE THE POOH at Edgewood Auditorium, 929 Edgewood Road, Highland Park, on Saturdays and Sundays, February 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm.
All of the heart, wisdom and fun of the classic tales of WINNIE THE POOH come to life in this playful show. WINNIE THE POOH would like to drift peacefully through life, humming tunes and stopping frequently to eat "a little something". However, he finds himself in all sorts of adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood. Author A.A. Milne's wit and special understanding of young people make this one of the most endearing children's tales of all time.
Director Brad Kisner said, "The classic childhood character comes to life on stage, complete with all his friends we've come to love. Pooh's intentions are always the best, but his passion for honey keeps getting him into trouble. Luckily, his friends are there to help Pooh out of his predicaments, while they all learn some valuable lessons together."
Tickets are general admission, good for any performance, and are available for purchase online at www.highlandparkplayers.com for $11. Tickets purchased online will be available at the theatre will call. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door.
Characters will greet and sign autographs after the one-hour performance, suitable for all ages. Children are encouraged to bring their Hundred Acre Wood friends to the performance!
