Highland Park Players Theater for Young Audiences presents its newest production of A Fairy Tale Adventure at Edgewood Auditorium, 929 Edgewood Road, Highland Park, on Saturdays and Sundays, February 11, 12, 18, and 19, at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The Wicked Witch has changed the endings to all the Fairy Tales so that evil will triumph, and she's kidnapped The Fairy to make sure the spell can't be reversed. Only Hansel, Gretel, and Paddy the Gingerbread Man can save the tales for a happily ever after ending! You'll know and love these classic fairy tale characters like Goldilocks, The Ugly Duckling, Snow White, The Pied Piper and several others, but you've never seen them like this before!

"This is a story of a community of fairy tale characters coming together to find their individual happiness" says Director Brad Kisner. "The Wicked Witch and her trio of evil trees remind us that people can be misunderstood, and that showing compassion for others can help everyone."

With a live band rocking original music by local composers Justin Kono, Aaron Kaplan and Michael Goldman, this engaging musical is a hit with young audiences and a fun time for one and all!

Tickets are general admission, good for any performance, and are available for purchase online at www.highlandparkplayers.com for $11. Tickets purchased online will be available at the theatre will call. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door. Characters will greet and sign autographs after the one-hour performance, suitable for all ages.
