Due to popular demand, Chicago's entertainer Ron Hawking again extends his new show The Men and Their Music at Chicago's Mercury Theatre (3745 N. Southport).  Tickets for a new block of performances from September 14 through October 28, 2007 will go on sale Friday, August 24th at 10AM.

"The Men and Their Music celebrates the greatest male vocalists of all time – featuring a live orchestra, back-up vocalists and acclaimed showman Hawking as the headliner," explain press notes, "The show features a repertoire of iconic numbers from music legends including Frankie Valli, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Lou Rawls, Burt Bacharach, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Andrea Bocelli, Barry Manilow and many others. Ron Hawking seamlessly steps in and out of each personality he portrays on the stage.  Going well beyond simply creating an impersonation, Hawking has an uncanny talent to reinterpret and redeliver each song with the same charm and charisma that made the original artists so beloved."

The new performance schedule is as follows:  Fridays at 8PM; Saturdays at 8PM; and Sundays at 3PM.  Please note: there will be an added 8PM performance on Thursdays beginning September 27, 2007.

Tickets ($49.50-$55.50) are available at the Mercury Theatre Box Office by calling 773-325-1700 or on ticketmaster.com.  Groups of 15 or more may receive a discount by calling Group Theater Tix at 312-423-6612, toll-free at 866-809-3075 or visit www.grouptheatertix.com.
