After a 5+ year stint calling Chicago home, eminent sketch comedy trio Hey You Millionaires is picking up their giant bags of comedy money and saying farewell to Chicago with two final performances at iO and the Annoyance respectively. Appearing with them at both venues will be comedy super group and fellow Cleveland natives Last Call Cleveland. Two award-winning sketch groups. Two completely different performances. A sendoff of epic proportions.

WHY:

Hey You Millionaires has been hailed by everyone from the Chicago Tribune to Time Out New York as boldly creative innovation in America's sketch comedy city. They were voted "Best Sketch Group in Chicago" in the Chicago Reader's Best of Chicago reader poll in 2008 and again in 2009. The Chicago Tribune describes them as "hugely talented...brainy and twisted." Time Out New York calls them "Chicago's rising stars." LAist.com says, "Any show that has sketch comedy titans Hey You Millionaires in it is worth the cost."

WHO:

Hey You Millionaires is comprised of a nationally-produced playwright (James Asmus), a published humor author (Jim Fath), and a high school English teacher (John Bohan) who create the kind of surprising, dark comedy that makes comedians laugh, yet is accessible to everyone. These veterans of iO Chicago, Second City Cleveland and the infamous Annoyance Theater have spent the last 2 years touring the country at festivals, theaters, and colleges. Among the highlights, they were the only Chicago group chosen for New York Sketchfest, Seattle Sketchfest, and The LA Comedy Festival. They were one of only five sketch groups in the country chosen for the inaugural U.S. version of the Just For Laughs Festival, which included HYM performing alongside a David Cross / Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show) reunion. Last spring, the group contributed to Fortune magazine for a cover story, and have also contributed to CNN.com and NPR's The Sound of Young America. Hey You Millionaires is directed by Sarah Haskins of CURRENT TV and Second City. For more, visit HeyYouMillionaires.com.

Last Call Cleveland is a sketch comedy group with a terrible name from "America's Most Miserable City" (according to Forbes magazine), but somehow they've managed to sell out their multimedia live show all over the place. From New York to Los Angeles to D.C. to Toronto to Chicago, they've received rave reviews for their combination of live and taped sketches, songs, and audience interaction. They're also the geniuses behind the Internet sensations "One Semester Of Spanish Love Song," "Honest R&B Song," "Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video," and the Break.com original series "Man In The Box."
