DATELINE: ROCK N ROLL is a high energy musical review of popular songs from the 50's to today, using dialogue ripped from the news headlines of the day. It was the music that shook the world and launched generations of young fans. Come and celebrate the history of Rock 'n' Roll in this review that explores the music of the 50's, 60's 70's, 80's and 90's and 2000's.

"Dateline" is directed by Mitchel Young; who was recently nominated for a Grammy Award for outstanding Music Teacher. He has worked with Ryan Gosling and his band "Dead Man"s Bones" and currently is the head of the Performing Arts Program at Saint Andrew School in Chicago directing numerous musicals and music reviews. "Dateline's"assistant Student Director Christian Rivera is a published writer and up and coming Musical Director from Taft High School.

The Cast includes 18 energetic young performers from the Chicagoland area.

The Young Artists department seeks to foster creativity in young people by offering classes in theatre and film that introduce students to the entire process of creating a production. For advanced students and seasoned young performers, the Young Artists Department will guarantee performance opportunities year-round by adding more of Gorilla Tango's popular By Kids For Kids productions to the show schedule.

Gorilla Tango Theatre (GTT) is a year-round theatrical venue where audiences of all ages can consistently go to see a wide variety of talented artists.
