On Monday, December 6th, Geja's Café, 340 West Armitage, invites guests to enjoy this holiday season with a fondue dinner paired with the best of the Maison Marques & Domaines Collection. The Maisons Marques & Domaines portfolio represents some of the most prestigious wineries in the world. The Maison Marques & Domaines Winemaker Dinner, part of Geja's Café's ongoing popular 2010 Winemaker Dinner series, will be a special and informative event featuring a representative on hand to provide commentary and answer questions on the wines.

Geja's will feature four of Maison Marques & Domaines' most prized wineries and will start with sparkling wines from the highly esteemed Roederer Estate (makers of the celebrated Cristal Champagne) and the ultra-premium bubbly producer, Scharffenberger Cellars in California. Next the entree will be escorted by the spicy Cotes du Rhone St Espirit Rouge by the world renowned Delas Freres from the Rhone Valley in France. Lastly, Geja's will complement decadence with extravagance by allowing chocolate fondue to commingle with a 10 year Tawny Port from Portugal's consummate port producer, Ramos Pinto.

"We discussed hosting an all-Champagne dinner to follow up our 31st annual Champagne Tasting featuring Louis Roederer which will be held the day before but, after tasting the still wines they had to offer we simply couldn't exclude them", stated Geja's General Manager, Kirby Matthews.
The evening begins with a 6:30 reception followed by dinner at 7:00 with a lively discussion of the evening's wines. The four-course dinner features Geja's house Salad, Cheese Fondue, Beef Tenderloin, Chicken & Jumbo Shrimp Entree, and Flaming Chocolate Fondue for dessert. Each course will be paired with the appropriate all-you-can-drink wine while supplies last. Cost for each dinner is $50 per person, which includes the wines, dinner, tax, and gratuity. Any left leftover unopened bottles of wine will be raffled off following the dinner. Reservations are required for the dinners, and interested parties are encouraged to act quickly as the popular Winemaker Dinners tend to sell out.
